Federal government owns over 50% of all forest land in California, whereas the CA state government only owns 3%.

 

And the federal government doesn't want to pay for maintaining their own land.

 

California should absolutely withold sending their tax receipts that are meant to go to the federal government, and simply deduct the costs from that.
