Miles Morales GS review - 7.0

The Good
Genuine care has been put into the depiction of Miles' culture as a half-Black, half-Puerto Rican resident of Harlem, especially in how it's used to inform the type of hero he wants to be
The fresh reimagining of the Tinkerer transforms a rather unremarkable comic book character into a compelling supervillain
Orchestral. Synthetic. Hip-hop.

The Bad
The incessant pace of the main storyline doesn't always mesh with Miles' commitment to slow down and help New York citizens
Miles doesn't actually play like a completely different Spider-Man

Not a great start for Sony

Exaggeration of a black teen :bena:

The way he leaps off of rooftops and flips backwards to face the camera before falling into a headfirst dive is just full of the exaggerated swagger of a Black teen--it gives me goosebumps every time he does it, especially as the music begins to swell.

When you let white nerds and female game developers design black characters they support in real life but never really interact with :reg:
