Would you want switch 2 to do 3d like 3ds?

I think that would be awesome on a bigger much higher resolution screen. Maybe that could be why the reports are saying it's using LCD? Not sure you could do stereoscopic 3d on OLED.

The dual screen and 3D added so much to the BOM costs they barely had a budget for normal hardware.

It obviously won't have a second screen to power. But quality stereoscopic 3d would definitely make me want to play in handheld mode a lot more than I did with Switch 1.

I would love 3D for indie games though real talk.

It's definitely cool tech.  Would be awesome to play indie games with modern graphics with the 3D effect.  They could also do a better job of it now than they did back then on the 3DS, as good as it was back then too.

But I'm indifferent.  Doesn't matter to me what they do.

I never used the feature on 3DS. It sucked ass.

I think in 2025 on a higher resolution screen it would be better
