GoT PC delisted on Steam where psn isn't available

Recommended Posts

I guess Helldivers 2 was just the top of the iceberg. :reg:

Sony simply can't get into a different industry with their same mentality of doing whatever the fuck they want.

Unlike the console industry, Sony has no control over the PC market.

Ghost of Tsushima's upcoming PC port has reportedly been delisted from some storefronts in several countries that aren't covered by PlayStation Network. The surprise move comes exactly one week before Ghost of Tsushima's long-awaited release on PC, which is slated for May 16.

lmfao Sony trying to do PC business the same way they do in their closet PSN.

Oh man the lemmings are so desperate to try and get people to stop thinking about Xbox completely collapsing.

Looks like Latvian PC owners living in slum dumpsters have been owned!!!!

They are "figuring it out"

PC gamers tried threatening them with a "take it or leave it" demand..........and Sony is basically not having any problem with "leave it."

LOL I love it when steam fanboys shit talking comes back to to bite them in the ass.

I would love nothing more than to see steam fanboys cause more shit for Sony, and Sony just ends up realizing that the market isn't remotely worth it.

Oh, NOW you're acting like it's Sony making this decision and not Valve telling Sony's ass that they can't sell games which require PSN in countries/regions where there is no official support :drake:

Sony needs PC more than PC needs Sony... so yea, they're going to figure that out.  That "market that isn't worth it" was the market that sold the most of their latest game... the biggest game of the year... which is already their 7th highest grossing game of all time :drake:

:cruise: Yea, they were talking all that shit last week and threatening Sony with refunding their games.

Sony says, "Okay, fuck you then. If you don't want to create a PSN account, we won't sell to you" and then the hermits go....

And Sony caved... hard.. because PC gamers follow through.

This is Valve and other PC storefronts telling Sony, you can't sell games on our platform in countries which require something people can't officially access there, idiots.

So they're being refunded.  And Sony's PC efforts can remain as limp dicked as their console players are.. while PC gamers from those countries will just pirate the games they no longer have access to and play them anyway. :cruise:

If Sony wants PSN that badly... then they will be fine with game sales from only those countries... if not.. they'll finally grow the fuck up and make PSN available everywhere they intend to sell their games.  Because their entire Live Service games push being a success or not literally depends on it :tom: :drake:

:kaz: They "caved" so hard they allowed their game to get delisted from numerous countries

Caving would have been completely removing the PSN requirement from GoT. You sound like a complete retard :mickeyj:

Why would they miss out on more money when they can easily walk back the PSN requirement like they just did with Helldivers 2? Lemij retard logic :luff:

Yes, they caved so hard... they were wrong and they know it.

And they DID completely removed the requirement for Helldivers 2.... which is what people fought against.  Nobody said shit about other games requiring PSN that hadn't been released yet moron.  If HD2 would have done this from the start there would have been no issue like there was.  Problem is when you sell millions and millions of copies in countries where PSN isn't officially supported, and then make it requirement. :drake:

So yes, they caved hard instead of having a huge legal clusterfuck on their hands.

There's NO PROBLEM AT ALL with Sony releasing games on PC which require PSN, in countries/regions where it's officially supported, and not in countries where it isn't.  They're simply kneecapping their own chance at being successful on the platform.  And like I said... if they want their live service games to be successful in the future on PC... they're going to have to fix their shit and make PSN available in more places.  Outside of that... no shit people in the countries affected are going to be pissed off at Sony for making it a requirement... what the fuck do you expect?  Regardless, not selling the games to them in the first place is better than selling it to them, then making PSN a requirement, and then facing the backlash after the fact. :danylol:
