I played some co-op with my friend yesterday. Game seemed....underpolished. I dunno. Still fun, however.

ffxiii made me lose all faith in versus :( i hope nomura can at least salvage it from the rest of the hacks at SE.

I still have faith in Final Fantasy Versus XIII since its suppose to play like Kingdom Hearts.

It's going to be as linear as FFXIII though

I played liked 12 hours and it was linear the whole way through. I hear it opens up, but i called it quits

all FF's are linear to an extent

but XIII was WAY BEYOND linear

if versus is as linear as the rest of the entries besides XIII I'll be happy

at least in FFX where it was pretty linear you had a ton of other stuff you could do, like puzzles, blitzball, minigames, hidden quests, secret bosses and all that good stuff

XIII was just... walk, fight, watch movie. the end.

its a totally different team for versus and they confirmed an air ship and world map so at least you know you can explore a little

and I remember nomura saying versus would be more traditional than FFXIII in some respects (ie. world map, towns etc)

Yes, great game. It surprised me how sucked in I was. The only parts that I despised were the detective parts at his desk where you had to look at all those files. It took no real thinking, all it ended up being was time consuming and just stumbling on the correct file.

I installed CIOS rev19 and it screwed up USB loader GX to the point of not recognizing my device. Twinblade linked me to another one that launched from HBC but works perfectly, you want?
