  1. I thought I read that Best Buy did the 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti for in-store only. I know prior they've been moving the NVIDIA FE products online to available to buy if it was in your local Best Buy store. A significant move to counter scalper bots that were exploiting their site and trying to bypass the Please Wait system which was kind of garbage to that average consumer. The RTX 3090 will not have the hashrate limiter. So if don't want no hardware limitation, go for the top card... like you did. I'm just glad I got my GPU at MSRP and won't have to deal wi
  2. man you love Apple stuff. Do you not see how limited you made yourself? I couldn't do it. I have a Macbook Pro I got in 2013 and I hardly use it (in part I need to replace the keyboard on it) and a iPhone XR as my work phone and I seldomly use it outside of work. Apple stuff is boring AF.
  3. I don't care about it's UI, I just want a robust and hopefully built from the ground up kernel. With a tip top processor scheduler that can rival the best of Linux. Microsoft is just window dressing with their OS these days, and for many of us who a serious PC users who care about performance, we don't give a shit about that.
  4. I thought Remij bought a 3080 or was in the hunt for one. So you and Carlos were stacking and flipping GPUs (like whoa) I see. The 3090 is a straight beast, too much power & money for me, but if you did scalp flips other other cards to eat the cost of the 3090 that was a really pro move. I wish could have done that RX 6800 XT, but I sold my VEGA 56 cards before the GPU crisis kicked in. You and Carlos are the few here with hardware to dominate the graphic charts now.
  5. jehurey has a RTX 3090 oh snap. Remij you got competition on the top GPU side.
  6. I also saw this and thought cows are losing their mind.
  7. I wish Ubisoft made their games free. Put up Far Cry 4 or 5 up for free
  8. I dunno, I don't think this broadly connect to all new games, because there are a few modern AAA gems that blow my mind and would probably send kid me into a hospital because I couldn't fathom games getting so detailed. Red Dead Redemption 2 is that game. I can agree that there's some elements to some old games that are completely lost in newer ones. To this day there's something about the music in Virtua Fighter presents a very campy up-beat melody to it that I like.
  9. Micro-Center is overrated. Their GPUs are marked up high like Newegg.
  10. I find it hard to believe the notion that Best Buy actually stocked all their stores with 3080 Tis. The way retailers operated the past 7 months selling out online instant. I don't think any retailers had more than 100 at best, and that's one online store per country. Best Buy were improving their distribution of drops by doing Availability to store, but not every store were stocked. I find it hard to believe that has changed in a span of 1 week for the 3080 Ti launch.
  11. I haven't played Uncharted since the 2nd game on PS3. Will be on the look out for this one.
  12. I finally got my card over the weekend. After 6+ long months of trying. I did not spend a penny over MSRP. The vertical bracket on my Thermaltake Core P5 is at full capacity with the RX 6800 XT Midnight Black up front, my M.2 Xpander-Aero behind it, and behind that is a PCIe 1x WinTV TV Tuner 😛
  13. Was this with a reference RX 6800 XT, or like a Power Color Red Devil?
  14. I clarified that I was saying SEGA put out the best visuals with Virtua Fighter until they stop making the game after VF5. Then Tekken took over as the game with the best visuals, and now MK11 holds that crown.
  15. Why should I cherry pick an enhanced version that came out a year later than the original installment?
  16. and I was wrong VF3 came out in 1996. Yep I stand by what I said @-GD-X , and when Tekken eclipsed VF, it was only because SEGA stopped making VF after VF5. vs
  17. I heard so much about the lady with the big tig o bitties
  18. LOL. Toshiden was awesome to see on PSX demo stations at the stores back in the day, when all I had was a 16-bit system. I think SEGA was a head of the curve for the first 3 Virtua Fighters. VF1 in 1993, VF2 in 1994, VF3 in 1996. Did you know the original developers of Virtua Fighter series part of SEGA's AM2 went on to work for NAMCO to make Tekken?
