There is no puzzle solving in Outlast. It's just a haunted mansion game.

I'll have to check then out after I finish Outlast.

I just ran through the sewers. Thats where you have to run to the center and climb the ladder? It was tense up until I saw a giant open room where I couldn't see but heard someone so I ran along the sides to look for a door didnt find one and just bolted towards the center lol. Never saw who was there with me. Yeah, I never played the Amnesia games but I heard about that mechanic and thought it'd be clutch in these kind of games.

It becomes more and more prominent the further you get.

How much is there after the doctor/male ward section? It's still a tense game though. Amnesia would penalize you for hiding for too long, right? That kind of mechanic seems like a must.

I guess I just mean with more modern shooters, but even then MP3 felt much better on a mouse. Fuck it, I'm done playing games.

Yeah, FPS and RTS stuff ill use my kb/m but I get a weird disconnect for any TPS.

It's a blast to play and it looks great.

There's just no threat to Oultast. The enemies take too long to kill you and even when they do you're checkpoint is from 3 minutes ago so you lose no progress.

Manus done. I did all the DLC bosses with the exception of the dragon. Seath and Nito done as well.

The changes to character customization don't start feeling worthwhile until you get through other difficulties. It's a pretty shitty thing but normal is too easy, it's at the games detriment that they don't start you offer with more of a challenge.

nah, I had killed Sif before going to the DLC stuff. They straight up reused darkroot for the first 1/3rd of the "new" content.

The Dark Souls DLC is pretty short. Got up to Manus, think I might sidetrack the othe great souls before finishing that up. Dig that you get to save Sif. <3

I figured as much and it's safe to assume that there are going to be 1 hit kill dudes but these ones are so easy to get away from theyre not that threatening, still make for a good chase though.

It's not that bad, you reach a point pretty early on that it stops being pretty scary. The enemies are really nonthreatening.
