GamePass is changing how Microsoft develops games. They are going to switch over to cheaper development to churn out less-than-AAA games with big meaty single-players. And they are going to turn Halo and Gears into GaaS-type experiences, with them slowly parsing out multiplayer missions over the period of months. And the fans are simply not going to tolerate it.
