The Switch arrival on the market has barely affected the PS4 in any way.

The no exclusive games strategy is working so well. Xbox One X will switch things around. Because the average consumer always go for the most expansive machine that displays teh best graphics. Goukosan 2,283
For reference. Last year for Q3 Nintendo sold over 7 million (Oct - Dec) And last year Q3 + Q4 sold over 10 million. This year they're expecting at least 15 million for Q3 + Q4 combined.
Playstation Tablet 1,746
The big question is what effect Smash and Pokemon will have on hardware IMO.

And just so we don't have any confusion, these are fiscal year goals for Nintendo. Meaning the 20 million they want to sell would happen through March 2019, not through December. And now we sit and patiently wait for someone to ignore this. EDIT: Also, for the same time period last year (Q3-Q4), Nintendo sold 10.16 million switches. So they gotta make up about 4 million to hit their 20 million mark. The difference this year is that their software output is insanely more popular this year than last. Smash + Pokemon is going to destroy SMO + Xenoblade 2 + Bayo ports. Edited October 30, 2018 by McWickedSmawt85
Playstation Tablet 1,746
Fire Emblem was a franchise that tanked hardcore before the 3DS version. Now its a big franchise, that will also help if it comes before March 2019. Really hyped for that game.

I don't know what the 3DS versions sold, but since they weren't gloated about, i figured they were moderate successes (like 3 million max or something).

They've sold 8 million in 9 months, they need another 7 million sales in 3 months to basically break even with last year that only had 10 months on the books, shit's not happening, not even close.
