His numbers were based on Point of sales WW data. If your IHS info is a projection of where they projected Xbox1 to be at that point in the future... then it's basically useless once that time passes and you get hard data that ZHugeEX was referring to. Which will be slightly higher than sold to consumers.....but as a product sales to consumers drop the amount shipped to retailers will drop as well because demand isn't as high. Xbox1 YOY sales have declined, which in turn reduced it's shipping numbers trajectory for 2018. You can't extrapolate the same rate of growth for 2018a based on IHS data because Xbox sales have decreased so obviously the rate will change.
