Then 2 years after launch the refresh will drop and own PC again

And the refresh console prices creep up to $600 dollars and are again dusted before they even come out so even less people care about them than they did the PRO/X.  Games again require patches to take advantage of the new ray-tracing hardware and only 20% receive patches at best.  Look guys NOW we have hardware accelerated ray-tracing!! 5 years too late. :tom:

Meanwhile, in 2023 Nvidia just released the RTX² 4080TI Ultra GPU with 64GB HBM4 and 4TB onboard SSD.. combined with AMD's recently released Ryzen 6000 64core 128thread Consoleripper CPU with 128GB of DDR5 RAM on a MOBO that supports PCIe6.0  :smoke:

hey now

I bet . Next gen consoles are gonna beast on PC

We hear this every time     These consoles are going to get dusted within 1-2 years of their launch.

The price to power compared to PC next gen will be a clear winner for consoles .

Even if they were 600 it would cost double that to beat them with PC , if not more

And lmao about the ray tracing comment . As I always said , ray tracing will be supported when consoles support it .

How many games have it now ?? 4 ?? Lmfao

Nah.. it's literally now a part of the 2 biggest engines which account for most of all game development.  It's literally as easy as checking a box... and you have basic RT shadows, reflections, lighting, and ambient occlusion.

The fact that UE4 and Unity have it means adoption is happening regardless.  Of course devs still have to be mindful of what they are developing.. but devs are anxious to support it.  Nvidia released the DXR drivers to GTX users which is also going to help with adoption.

You'll have your RT... but a limited basic form of it... while PC gets better support and hardware specific acceleration.

Kind of like you're too stupid to not notice the difference between DLSS on and off?

:hest:

Me downplaying your over-exaggerations is not "not noticing the difference".  I could explain to you all the technical details of DLSS and what it does and doesn't do.. and you know that.

But hey, it took Crytek releasing a very limited mediocre ray tracing demo and you were quick to think it was actually viable in any real capacity on traditional shader cores .. you're as dumb as Jon is :hest:

The mere fact that both PS5 and X2 rumors point to and highlight ray tracing support, means that they both know it's important to future game development and true next generation graphics.

Nvidia ALWAYS beats AMD to the punch.. every time.  Literally TWO YEARS AHEAD  :juggle:

the only way we will abonden pc is if they offer something with 60fps, upgradeable hardware, free online. till then Hermits can never be owned

Yes they can be owned.  The existing hermits are simply that - the existing hermits.  Although they may stick with PC any new potential PC gamers will simply choose a console going forward since they don't need to purchase additional hardware such as mouse, keyboard, monitor, gaming video card etc.. and pay additional fees for OS licensing etc.. Buy an Xbox, bring it home and play.  See how easy that was?  No building pc's or walking into a computer store to buy a pre built at minumum $1000 plus monitor.  None of that.  Walk in to Best Buy, hook it up to your existing 4k tv and be done with it.

Honestly though, the old arguments that pc is better than console will soon no longer be valid.  It's just the way it is, boys.  Sure, Microsoft should be credited with helping to evolve 3d gaming to what it is today.  They were working in the gaming industry when Sony was still making stereos sand speakers and had no notion of gaming whatsoever.  How do we all forget that MS facilitated early 3d game development back in the 90's with DirectX.  And it's mostly because of Microsoft's platform that allowed gaming to evolve to what it is today.  Xbox is the future of gaming whether you like it or not.  DirectX and MS's gaming platform is called Xbox?  Do you see why it's called Xbox?  This should be common knowledge but not everyone is aware of this older information.  MS a veteran in this business homies, we ain't goin nowhere!!!! got that fools?
