TSHBR Sonic passes Detective Pikachu to become highest grossing video game movie in the US

I was surprised to have enjoyed it as much as I did. I don't usually watch kids movies. Jim Carrey was good but I don't think he took the spotlight from everyone else necessarily.

Would've never predicted it but it's well deserved. Sonic was actually a really fun film and was awesome to see Jim Carey back in a classic Jim Carey role.

And it did that without even opening in China or Japan?   Wait to when those markets finally see it. The numbers are going to continue to climb.  

 

Paramount deserves all the accolades for listening to fans and redesigning that Sonic.
