Epic Games announces multiplatform publishing partnerships with studios behind Control, Limbo, and The Last Guardian

Recommended Posts

Next Fumito Ueda game will be on Xbox and PC. Looks like Sony kicked him to the curb after last guardian's abysmal sales and lukewarm reception.

:mj:

the 'Year of Dreams' E3 just looks more and more ridiculous in retrospect.

-Shenmue 3: 5.0 flop that doesn't end the story

-TLG: Flopped so hard the dev was dropped by Sony

-FF7R: 1 year exclusive, midgar section only

Just:mj:

I always love it when lemshites talk about bad news for sony when a game goes multiplat. I mean it's not like lems lost ALL exclusive games 5 years ago. :kaz:  keep trying, butthurts

Ueda had his studio dissolved over at Sony, and he was working as a contract worker to finish Last Guardian.

Sony didn't lose him, that guy was basically out the door 5 years ago.

Gen Design was never a first party studio and Team Ico was pretty much dead after TLG came out, that was what, three years ago? lol They didnt even work on the SOTC remake.
