I can't deal with how stupid people allow themselves to be these days.

All she was doing was organizing a protest. If you think that’s stupid, imagine Trump arresting all of the Blmantifa leaders.

she was specifically organizing the protest to break the public health and safety rules that they have in place regarding covid.

If we still had rules in place limiting public gatherings by number, and somebody purposely wanted to hold a rally that far exceeded those numbers, cops would be issuing citations, and breaking up that rally.

If there were a mandate limiting public gatherings over a certain number.... anyone who broke that to gather over those numbers would get either fined or arrested.

NYC had prohibited gatherings of 10+ people during the George Floyd protests.

which is why it was a march, and people spread out, and they tried to collect into one spot.

I'm certain, because of crowd dynamics and traffic, that there were spots in which they bunched up, but it was not meant to be a place where they gathered together in one spot to rally.

This lady, and usually alot of these anti-covid rallies, they are meant to gather in one spot.

Even with you’re contradicting argument, far from the truth.

all while gatherings of 10+ were prohibited. Should the leaders be arrested?

Like I said, they were intended to be marches, not rallies to be held in one spot.

But thankfully.............unlike those right-wing anti-covid morons, they're wearing masks to provide basic protection from coughing and sneezing.

And they must have done a good job, because New York had no spike in infections during July.

It doesn’t matter what the intent was. It’s a gathering of 10+ people.

Should they all receive citations?

Except nobody was organizing a rally to have people in this one spot.

Take a look at the Australian lady..............she was.

So...........no, marchers who end up marching themselves into a heavily trafficked spot don't deserve citations.

If police put barriers in certain streets, they could be responsible for creating the crowd of people in one spot.

There were several planned protests in specific spots NYC. The Brooklyn Bridge, for example.

This was planned, at a specific time, with thousands marking that they were going through a Facebook event.

all while gatherings of 10+ were prohibited. The time, date, and amount of expected people was viewable before the event occurred.

per your logic, the organizers should be arrested, and everyone should have been cited.

that would be a march, because you can't just stop and collect on a bridge, the police would almost certainly start moving the crowd.

you must have trouble understand the difference between a MARCH and a RALLY.

Clearly NYC allowed marches, along with many other cities.

I've seen these anti-covid rallies before, especially here in Texas. They are not marches, by design they are told to gether in one spot to listen to somebody speak.

And they are marching.  Which means they are moving.

That's not them intentionally gathering in one spot.

Try again.

That’s fine an dandy, but there were many moments of not marching and simply... gathering. Just like the planned protest to sit outside of the Trump hotel.

yup they did it for roughly 40 minutes, and then they began to march. from 7:15 the crowd began to gather, and by 5 minutes before 8pm they started marching again.

with masks still on, that's alot better than those rallies that go for at least a couple of hours.
