Dumbass pregnant woman gets arrested in Australia for organizing an anti-covid event

Like I said, they were intended to be marches, not rallies to be held in one spot.

But thankfully.............unlike those right-wing anti-covid morons, they're wearing masks to provide basic protection from coughing and sneezing.

And they must have done a good job, because New York had no spike in infections during July.

Yeah, I'm surprised how it worked out. I usually hit rallies and marches when I can but abstained from the marches this year because too many people in close proximity.

My friends who did go said that it was mostly masked up, they had tables set up with water, mask, and hand sanitizers and such. I waited to see an uptick in infections but they didn't bump.

NYC had prohibited gatherings of 10+ people during the George Floyd protests.

May 22nd

"The new order says all gatherings are permitted so long as social distancing rules, (which states that masks should be used in situations where social distancing is difficult) and cleaning and disinfecting protocols, are followed."

May 28th

"New York City has been the site of several protests against the killing of George Floyd since May 28, 2020

By the time Floyd was killed you could gather in NYC as long as the protocols were followed.

yup they did it for roughly 40 minutes, and then they began to march. from 7:15 the crowd began to gather, and by 5 minutes before 8pm they started marching again.

with masks still on, that's alot better than those rallies that go for at least a couple of hours.

40 minutes is 40 minutes too long for an illegal gathering.

Yup, we can see, those marcher did a good job to protect themselves.

I put the mouse cursor right over June 2nd, as that was the date of the protests, and when they started, there were several marches in NYC over the course of about two weeks, beginning from June 2nd.

Basically, NY state enters their lowest infection period from that point forward. And they've stayed there.

Nope, it clearly isn't, judging by their fantastically low covid infections that saw no spike in the state of New York after these marches began.

And Gouko just debunked your entire claim.

The gatherings weren't illegal in NYC, bybthe time Floyd was killed.  In NYC you were allowed to gather as long as you were masked or had face coverings.

The lady in the OP was organizing a MASK LESS gathering.... big difference :mjpls:

The social distancing protocol states that masks should be worn in situations where you're unable to social distance.

It is in effect for 30 days, through June 21"

Public Gatherings: In Phase Two of the regional reopening, non-essential public gatherings are only permitted if 10 or less people are in attendance. Gatherings of up to 25 people are allowed in Phase Three. Social Gatherings of 50 People and indoor religious gatherings at 33 Percent capacity are allowed in Phase Four. Check to see what phase your region is in.

Which phase was NYC in during early June, Gouk?

Social distancing protocol.

CDC recommends that people wear masks in public settings and when around people who don’t live in your household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Oh wait, NICE try. It was to ALLOW groups of 10 for ANY REASON (not just relgious)

Cuomo issued the order after the New York Civil Liberties Union filed a suit that objected to Mr. Cuomo’s order on Thursday allowing groups of 10 people or less to gather for religious services or for Memorial Day celebrations. Mr. Cuomo’s order on Friday night modified the previous order.

In an unexpected executive order issued Friday night, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo of New York slightly loosened coronavirus restrictions, saying that gatherings of up to 10 people would be allowed “for any lawful purpose or reason” anywhere in the state — including New York City — provided that social-distance protocols were followed.

No ghostz.... as long as you wore a mask gatherings were allowed from May 21 through June 21st.

I live in NYC, you don't.

They instituted a curfew as well. No one was allowed to gather WITH OR WITHOUT masks after curfew.

Guess what happened if you did?  You got arrested or fined.  The lady in the OP organized a mask less rally that's not allowed in her country and she got arrested just like the protesters that were out past curfew in NYC.

After Curfew, Protesters Are Again Met With Strong Police Response in New York City

Officers were forceful in dispersing demonstrators who stayed out past curfew in the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn.

I literally JUST proved you wrong. You have no links.

Sure - there was curfew. That’s not what we are talking about, though.

You were not allowed to legally gather in groups of 10+ during the George Floyd protests. Supporting the OP video means you support Blmantifa leaders being arrested, or you’re a hypocrite. Both planned protests illegally.

Simple as that.
