Twinblade★ 3,929
https://www.gamespot.com/articles/netflix-prices-are-going-up-again/1100-6483936/ I feel like these price hikes are happening more and more often. I think I might just cancel my sub for now.
madmaltese★ 2,586
Starting to get to the point where it's not a given that I keep it.
jehurey 3,238
yeah that's no surprise there, now that they are a standard staple, they do a price increase creep. and families will still accept it because the top tier plan allows for multiple devices.
Hot Sauce 2,734
An extra $1/$2 a month is whatever, but it's kinda shitty they did this in the middle of a pandemic when they made $800-million in profit last quarter alone.
TLHBO 2,162
lmao people still pay for netflix? it sucked anyway and was mostly full of crap but the subversive propaganda was the icing on the cake.
Twinblade★ 3,929
I think they just lost a bunch of subscribers because of that pedo movie. I can't believe they're ballsy enough to raise the price right after that.
jehurey 3,238
i think they're at the point where they know that the amount of subscribers they can lose on any given month, they are offsetting with new subscriptions. And I think they will be doing an end of the year major hype movie to bring in lapsed subscribers and have them re-subscribe and then forget about the recurring payments for a few months. So like something like The Irishman occurring every year. I hear that the Borat movie was wildly successful for Amazon. That movie may have done more to get people to start watching Amazon Prime Video more regularly than anything they've done.

The Mother Fucker 26
I'm glad I dropped Netflix already They became worthless in 2020. Their biggest F up was canceling the Marvel shows.
