You know why? because they've been calling for the lockdown since March, and they've been right that the virus hasn't gone away. The stupidity is going to end, and right around January, the infections and the hospitalizations will be at their worst, and regular people will be in their worst financial shape BEGGING for a stimulus, and the Democrats will come in and give them that stimulus, and initiate lockdowns where needed. Its not going to derail anything that wasn't ALREADY in the process of derailing. Republicans can scream all they want, but the person who gives you the stimulus (quickly as soon as they said they would give it to the people) will get positive credit. Republicans never wanted to give aide in the first place so dying on the hill of getting additional funds to bigger cities. Pelosi should definitely step down on that one.
