A professor of "ethics" ..

Crazy how much that party is dragging down this country.

You not liking what a single Ethics Professor stated doesn't mean a specific party is dragging the country down, what a fucking stupid notion.  How that thought even entered your mind while the current GOP POTUS resides over a failed pandemic response and recession is amazing. Your culture war nonsense is idiotic and only effects twitter queens (both left and right) - not the US.

Democrat run areas have a higher HDI, QoL (not the environmental only QOL), and Standard of Living (on average).

Democrat president's have a superior economic track record.

You are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts. If you want to look at what Party objectively drags the US down, you might want to look at data and not what you subjectively didn't like from a single Ethics Professor. Christ.

Playing with the lives of people to "level the playing field" .

No.

Covid adversely affects minorities more.

You apply the vaccine where its needed most.

Its simply logical.

And you don't have a response to it.

You're just trying to play the victim (again).

Is it killing more elderly or minorities?

Its saving more lives, because elderly minorities are more likely to die.

You can't deny that, because you KNOW the facts show that low-income minorities have the highest chance of dying from the virus if they get infected.

Very simple: send the vaccine where it will save the most amount of lives.

Are you saying you are against that concept?

Yes or No?

Yeah and it will save more lives if you vaccinate those that are most likely to die from it, regardless of race. The ELDERLY. Not everything needs to be racialized and politisized.

It will save MORE LIVES if you vaccinate those who are MORE LIKELY to get infected and die from it, and determining it by race makes it MORE SCIENTIFICALLY AND MATHEMATICALLY PRECISE.

You are being too BROAD by simply saying "the elderly"

You can actually be MORE TARGETED and MORE EFFECTIVE.

Which is what the CDC and my local Dallas County Medical Examiner board has determined.

Sweetie..................you can't argue with the stats.

This is utilizing the vaccine to its most optimal effectiveness, by being more stat-driven.

You are advocating to use the vaccine LESS OPTIMALLY, statistically.

You have no place to argue.

If you don't want poor minority people to benefit (its laughable that we call this a "benefit" to begin with), then maybe society, as a whole, should invest in providing nutrition and food benefits for low-income minitority neighborhoods, so that they aren't more prone to obesity and diabetes.

I don't know if you are aware of this, but in most major cities, low-income neighborhoods are "food deserts". I'm not kidding, and you probably won't believe this, but most major grocery foodstore chains have NO STORES, NONE, ZERO in low income neighborhoods. In the city of Dallas, there is literally entire chunks of the county with no major grocery stores on the south side of the city.  That means no produce section, no green veggies, basic meats with protein, no milk or dairy.

They aren't likely to have automobiles, but rather take public transportation, and they aren't going to travel across the county to go buy groceries and carry enough groceries to last them for a long time when they go on the bus.

There's only cheap, and dirty fast food restaurants.

That is why they are more susceptible for this virus.

So take your pick:

  • They go ahead in the vaccine line because they are susceptible to getting the virus, and higher rate of dying from the virus once they get it
  • Or pay massive amounts of taxpayer money to fix the root of the problem so that all Americans have equal access to eating healthier and being EQUALLY healthy across the board, the same as elderly white people. It'll probably take about 20-30 years of doing that in order to achieve that.

Until then, the question is simple.

Do you want this vaccine to save the MOST AMOUNT OF LIVES, as statistically possible yes or no?

If yes, then certain demographics within the elderly population go ahead of "regular healthy" elderly white people. Period.

What truth is that lost fool?

That the vaccine is OPTIMALLY going to the people who are MOST LIKELY TO GET INFECTED.

And also MOST LIKELY TO DIE FROM THE INFECTION.

You are literally telling us that you don't give a shit about those people..............you would rather that white people get the vaccine, an item that is limited in supply, and have it taken from the people who are currently at a higher risk under both of those categories that I just pointed out.

Let me explain it to you like this: where do earthquakes occur mostly?

Along fault lines.

So lets say the United States appropriates a $500 Billion budget to create some form of earthquake protection shelters that would save lives during an earthquake.

And then, politicians in states that BARELY HAVE ANY EARTHQUAKES say "hey, you need to send a chunk of that money for us to build earthquake shelters as well"

So, people in California and Washington state who are along the San Andreas fault will have LESS EARTHQUAKE SHELTERS to save people, because that money got taken away by states like Alabama and Kansas, that barely get any Earthquakes.

In your mind.................that's logical to you?

99.3% of the time infected means LIVING.. unless you're OLD. Ill start using red text so you understand ELDERLY HAS NO RACE

What you are not understanding is that minority elderly tend to be poorer and live in poorer conditions, thus are more subsistible to infection an to receive lower quality care.

Yes they do.

And if you had been paying attention at the death statistics, you would know that poor elderly minorities are dying AT EVEN HIGHER RATES than elderly white people.

Once again, the question is simple:

Do you want the vaccine going to the people who have the HIGHEST RISK of getting infected, and the HIGHEST RATE OF DYING once they are infected.

Because the stats narrow it down to elderly low-income minorities, because they will be in poorer health than elderly white people.

Its that simple.

You either care enough................or you don't.

And if you vaccinate those who easily die from it then the infection is moot. You seem to think that's irrelevant though .

See that's the thing you're still under the false impression that only old people die from it.   Good thing the experts know what they're doing and started with the essential workers first 😎

and once again, they arent. But they make up the VAST MAJORITY OF COVID19 DEATHS BY A MASSIVE HUGE MARGIN.

Instead of giving  school kids body armor to defend against school shooters lets give the neighbors who live near the school body armor first because they are affected too and they might be of a different skin hue!
