Delita 698
It’s sad that this is exactly how the people predicted the final days of Trump would look like when you asked anyone who wasn’t licking this sad sack of shits anus.

Twinblade★ 3,933
This is completely unnecessary and is just going to pour more fuel onto the fire. Trump was no doubt in the wrong with his careless rhetoric but all this is going to do is further divide the country.

No, its necessary. You do not appease terrorists. And we will not apologize or water down our democratic process to appease terrorists. And this is necessary to defend American values. Defend them today, and in the future for anybody else who is remotely THINKING about doing the shit Trump did. That could be a Republican president, or a Democratic president attempting that in the future. And we must let it be known that it is not acceptable. The message is: if you attempt insurrection of the United States Government, you will face full punishment for it. Edited January 9, 2021 by jehurey

Between fascists and real Americans who believe in this country and not a wannabe dictator who lies to his cult.

They are doing this so he can be properly prosecuted by the full extent of the law and no pardons can be given from him (most likely to himself), and also so he can be prevented from running again. You guys keep on throwing around the word fascism without knowing what it really means. Fascists have been responsible for millions of deaths since the 1900s and comparing Trump and his supporters to them is a complete insult and dishonors the memory of the millions (particularly jews) who were brutally murdered at their hands. Showing up at a protest that was 99% peaceful because you love your country and support the president =/= Fascism....not even close. Those people are more American than the average liberal who do nothing but show their hate for the country and its principles on a daily basis (as evidenced by their recent attempts to silence Trump and the people around him). Dude is lying and saying he won the election when he didn’t. That riot the president incited was because he can’t accept the democratic process. He can’t be allowed to remain in office when he keeps denying reality plain and simple.

Fascists do things like blame immigrants for their problems and break basic UN laws in their treatment (like separating children and babies from them) Fascists do things like lie and force their allies in government to lie for them, as it costs lives.........TO COVER UP THEIR OWN FAILINGS: like Trump's failings for the coronavirus response. That's already about 370,000 deaths right there, so he may very well get to a million deaths that you are talking about. Yes, showing up at a protest to protest THE ACTUAL UNITED STATES DEMOCRATIC PROCESS, that was done completely legally, and with no evidence of fraud..........and basically demanding to just give their guy power because THEY SAID SO..............is absolutely 100% fascism. No, there are WW2 veterans who are specifically saying that these people are Nazis and fascists. Who am I supposed to believe...............them, who are actual men? Or you? Jewish people who have family and were in WW2, and Jewish Groups are saying that he's saying Nazi-like and Fascist-like things: https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/.premium-u-s-jewish-groups-condemn-trump-s-refusal-to-denounce-white-supremacists-in-debate-1.9197683 Quote 'Antisemites Are Rejoicing': U.S. Jewish Groups Slam Trump's Refusal to Denounce White Supremacists NEW YORK – Jewish groups slammed U.S. President Donald Trump for telling a white supremacy group, the Proud Boys, to “stand down and stand by” during Tuesday’s presidential debate. Trump made the comment in response to a question asking him if he is willing to “condemn white supremacist and militia groups.” Trump’s response to “a simple question” was “astonishing,” said Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League. “Trying to determine if this was an answer or an admission,” Greenblatt tweeted. “President Trump owes America an apology or an explanation. Now.” The ADL noted that beyond the white supremacy group celebrating Trump’s mention online, tweets referencing the Proud Boys “jumped significantly to thousands per minute” on Tuesday night. The American Jewish Committee also reacted to the remarks, telling Trump that “bigots, racists, and antisemites are rejoicing at your refusal to condemn white supremacy.” “There can be no ambiguity on this issue,” the organization tweeted. “White supremacists should not just be told to ‘stand by’ – they need to be renounced completely.” Meanwhile, Stosh Cotler, CEO of Bend the Arc: Jewish Action, said in a statement that “over and over again during his presidency, Trump has been given the chance to condemn the white supremacists who support him,” added that “Tonight, he once again showed why a majority of Jewish voters say that Jews will be less safe if Trump is re-elected. He doesn’t just enable white supremacy, it’s his platform.” Cotler also pointed out that some minutes after the comment, when asked about the election, Trump suggested that “his people” should go and “watch” polling places. “These are the words of a scared wannabe fascist, not a president – and Jewish Americans see right through him,” she said. Now, who the fuck am I going to believe..............those actual Jews who are saying that he looks and sounds and has the platform of a fascist, nationalist in plain English? Or you? jehurey 3,240
Quote and now the line has gone from “It’s deeply offensive to suggest Trump or his supporters are violent” to “You can’t punish Trump, his supporters will get even more violent” Gee, I wonder which poster in this forum did that very switch in excuses.
