Sounds like his troubles with the US government is regarding taxes, if thats the case wouldn't they want to keep him alive? I honestly don't know much about this guy or this case, but on face value it seems he had planned his suicide long in advance as a last resort if he would ever be extradited, and when he got news that he was, it sealed his fate that he had long since accepted, since he know he was completely fucked forever. Epstein had dirt on severeal high profile people, i don't see what anyone gains from murdering this guy.
