That's largely the point, you're not properly assessing the graphical heft of this game if the decision was to render at 30 FPS.

The Forza developers are absolutely laughable in how they designed the map.

 

Baja literally means a LOWER PART of an existing piece of land.

 

A peninsula. Specifically a LOWER peninsula.

 

For them to call a piece of land "Baja" that is in INTERIOR LAND is absolutely stupid, and inaccurate.

 

So what you are saying is that I gave Playground Games more credit than they deserved, and their map of mexico is rather goofy and wildly inaccurate.

No, this game isn't doing anything special that wasn't already being done in FH4.

 

The new things appear to be the new land scanning tech, which is not a graphical effect, but a new way of creating textures, that isn't really a Playground Games creation but something that came from another Microsoft department within the company.

 

So............no, FH5 isn't doing anything new. Except maybe do more polygons and larger draw distance.

The whole point of them basing their games around known places is to make a fun map based off the various different regions of the country... it's not to recreate it 1:1...
