This is retarded. Who the fuck said cops lives doesn't matter? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Are you one of those loons who'd think we live in lala land and we would be better off without cops to enforce the law? Or if a few cops do bad things that means they're all corrupt and bad? You do realize plenty of cops have spoken in favor of the protest, right?

Lmao, fuck off with your childish shit. I thought you were better than this.

You heard me say any of that?

Im saying blue lives matter, they came in and maintained Law and Order :salute:

You have an issue that they took the canisters. OMG teh horror :adhd:

I swear we are living in an upside down world right now. Occupy democrats? Really? This is what a workers socialist group thinks about workers?

One of the basic laws regarding protesting in the United States is that you cannot completely block public roads when protesting.

Before you start responding like an idiot, let me be very clear about what that means.

If you are MOVING, like walking, down the street...........then you are moving, and therefore that's not blocking, because eventually traffic is moving.

You do not need a permit for a protest march that is WALKING down the street.

You do need a permit if you want the city to block off streets because you plan to occupy that space, and that permit has to be approved beforehand.

So...............did those Canadien truckers do any of that?

Oh, and if you think you can bash Occupy Wall Street for doing the same thing, you are completely wrong, here is video at that protest when it was at its biggest:

There's no law that allows cops to steal legal goods from citizens. There are using the state of emergency status to break their own laws because they're desperate.

Not only that but this gas was used to keep people warm during cold winter nights. It could be a question of life or death, are you dumb? Of course you are.

There is if they break court orders.

Which they clearly did.

You would imagine that they would've been fined daily, and therefore owe a debt, and owe money that must be paid off through any means possible, including garnishment or seizure of property.

They didn't do that because they were given a fine that hadn't been paid or anything of the sort, for your information. Plus, that's not how it works anyway.

That wasn't at the ambassador bridge Canada US border, that was in Ottawa.

you can't shut down a piece of public infrastructure with a.) obtaining permission from that local government, or b.) obtain some sort of civil or criminal penalty.

If you are completely BLOCKING A PUBLIC STREET, as in completely stationary and no making any attempt to move.......you are sabotaging a piece of piece of public infrastructure.

It would be considered no different than block a water pipeline, or cutting electrical wires to prevent the rest of the community from access that public utility.

Actual money is lost by local businesses and the people who rely on that.

Doesn't matter what the specific rules are, they were going to find a good-enough reason for them to have legal grounds.

Hell, some trucks may not be owners of those truck, they may have a lien-holder. Or the truck is owned by a company. And they decided to repossess some that they have ownership in.

Huh, you're the one who assume because you're black and I'm white that your OPINION is worth more than mine on the matter. Like your anecdotal evidence is proof enough that everything you say is factual truth. Sit your ass down.

I assume a white guy from Canada doesn't know what it's like to be a minority in America. I know, radical thinking.

Just like a man doesn't know what it's like to be a woman. Men can and should have standing in gender issues such as harassment and such but to shut down all conversations and make verdicts is absurd.

Just like I don't know what it is like to be gay or queer or trans or disabled. This "radical leftist ideology" you hate so much is really just empathy and an open mind and hit just feeling sorry for yourself and only yourself. I guess this is why the small minded, internet troll culture of the alt-right is so popular now and especially on this forum.

You call me a racist all the time so I'm confused by your high ground objection. Like you call me a racist because I say racism in various degrees exist, and I call you one because of your bizarre comparisons and entitlement to render verdicts on what you find to be acceptable racism. Like wtf? Lol you're such a clown.

The sad thing is that I didn't even address all of the stupidity and hypocrisy you showed in this post. I'm legit leaving shit out because I'm dumbfounded by your audacity. Lol

It wasn't stolen it was confiscated.

The law abiding citizens of Ottawa grew tired of the daily and nightly constant noise, harassment and blockage of downtown neighborhood.   Little kids and elderly can't sleep and awoken in the middle of the night by the blaring sounds, women harassed in their own neighborhood on the way to work etc.

Cops came in and started restoring law and Order against those trucker hooligans :salute:

Not sure about Canada but you can get permits in the US to demonstrate lawfully.

If that's also the case in Canada, then they broke the law from the beginning by starting this blockage on public streets without a permit.

Having empathy and being open minded is one thing. Leftist propaganda and divisive rhetoric is another.

I call you out when you make racist comments. I never said racism was acceptable, once again you fail at basic comprehension. You don't even understand the argument I bring forward. Isolated cases of racism =/= systematic racism, that doesn't mean I'm okay with someone being threated in such a manner, that's clearly not the point I'm making.

Huh, sure man, because you had such good arguments to begin with. lol

i like how he basically responded by saying:

"do you think people who are clearly in violation of local laws would get permits for that?"

and just undermined his entire argument by trying to make a clever response.

you're right.........they wouldn't get a permit, if they clearly wanted to ask for permission for things that amount to breaking laws and disturbing the peace, and having a clear intention of hurting the general public.

i didn't know that stopping the police from unfairly targeting and brutalizing blacks was "divisive" to you.

This is why you don't see me defending the border crossing being blocked. Although I heard they are leaving one lane open so it's probably not as bad as it sounds.

As far as the situation in Ottawa goes, they are in their rights of peaceful protest protected by the charter, it's not like they are blocking the entire city.

Either way, at this point there not given much choice and you have a Government unwilling to listen or negotiate acting out like authoritarian dictators making threats and changing laws as they see fit. It's unacceptable.

No, blocking public infrastructure ANYWHERE would be illegal in most countries.

The local government would have an obligation to all the other citizens that they serve that they must eventually make public roads accessible.

Do the truckers OWN the streets of Ottawa? As in, its a privately owned street in which they are occupying? Or are they on public streets?

can you answer me that?

You're hating on a peaceful protest for being illegal while defending BLM riots burning down private properties of people that had nothing to do with the problem to begin with. Love the hypocrisy, Jerry. :laff:

except people who would be caught for that damaged property would be arrested.

i love how you are calling all of those hundreds of protests where no crimes occurred "riots"

whereas, all of those truckers are blocking the road, therefore ALL OF THEM are participating in the actual criminal offense, correct?

Also answer the question:
