Those that don't have VRR tvs for one. But again, direct quote. VRR is a gimmick dude. Even with a gimmick like that, Microsoft is getting bent over like they do every generation.

It takes gimmicks for the Xjoke to even be on par with the PS5. The PS5 which doesn't even have the option for VRR enabled within the current firmware yet. Sony didn't need that gimmick to make their games run well. Yet, when they do enable it and it is coming in the next patch since its already in beta, the Xjoke is toast. If PS5 runs it better in non-VRR mode, imagine what it's going to do with VRR turned on.

11:07 the ps4 on the ps5 is the smoothest version - period - including the pc. though, the ps5 version is recommended for those wanting the best mix of next gen visuals/framerate....if you don't have a vrr monitor. in that case, the series x is the better choice (less framerate jank). but the smoothest, overall, is the ps4 running on ps5 (despite sounding like a sad way to play this lol)

Smoothest yes, but even DF prefers to play on the series X version per their latest article due to the trade offs. 
 

When/if PS5 gets vrr, that changes, but until then… yep, best on Xbox with vrr (as I’ve stats for weeks now)
