Microsoft has signed a 10 year deal to bring Xbox games to Nintendo Systems...... *Update*.. Similar deal signed with GeForce now for PC games.

If Microsoft doesn't get the Activision deal........they are going to dump their games as a third-party publisher on any platform that they can.

 

Because they will start the transition of exiting the video game hardware industry, and they may very well start trying to sell off all the studios/IPs that they bought.

 

Hopefully, they won't be assholes and simply close studios and have those IPs go dormant.

The previous verbal agreement was for COD only.

And with MS commitment seemingly being “we want you to be able to access our games anywhere”, cross saves seem likely. In that case, one purchase should suffice.
