Zoltan and Dandelion play a very tangencial role in the game (they are just there from time to time). However, Roche and Iorveth are extremeley well written characters with depth and interesting story arcs, and i definitely cared for what was going on with them. Specially in chapter 2. This is also true for some of the antagonists, Henselt and Dethmold are awesome antagonists. And Letho is also well done, which you will understand once you get to the final choice of the game. It's hard to explain, but the fantasy setting has a sense of realism to it, if that makes sense. certain areas actually feel dirty and old. The elves look just like regular people, just with pointy ears. None of that Disney shit. I loved how the first city I visited, when leaving the boat, had public executions right when I got there. Sabo 442 Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 Captain America: Super Soldier. I got suckered into trying it out because I was told it's a lot like Batman Arkham Asylum. In a way it is, just minus the being good part. The combat sucks, the enemy variety is severely lacking, there is way too much collectibles (this shit is everywhere), the platforming is very automated, the voice acting borders on decent to just plain bad, the story is a snore, the music is forgettable, the frame rate is everywhere, etc. About the only thing the game has going for it is the level design. It's actually not that bad. Not great but it's not bad. Oh and it's an easy game to get all the Achievements/Trophies. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Twinblade★ 3,925 Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) started replaying witcher 2. one thing i noticed is that they didn't remove the potion drinking animation in the EE on PC. thats actually one of the minor changes i was looking forward to the most : would have saved a lot of time. and is it just me or is the lip syncing better? it looks like they went back and tweaked them for the english voices instead of just keeping the original stuff meant for polish voices. as for the voice acting, i don't mind trish. I think the problem is that she sounds way too "American" if you know what i mean.
