It doesn't have the crazy choices of 3 (so far), but the pacing is a lot better. There's also some really cool parts ( 1 twisted one very early on). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Golem Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. I've been playing it every day since Saturday, it's eating into my work bad but it's so good! Had a few matches against the collectors, damn they're hard. Maybe harder than the reapers. At one point everyone got wiped out except for.. The guy playing as a fucking Volus. I'm not sure what class he was but he was fucking awesome. I think the lack of height helps when it comes to cover to be honest. Hazard maps are pretty awesome too. 15% xp bonus is a great way to get people to try them out too. I hope they make more packs like Retaliation, and hopefully add an Omega map. Good game The characters and story were a lot of fun, the artstyle is tight and the gameplay was well done, for the most part. Really dug the shooting, ripping apart robots with bullets is fun. That said, the "down but not out" system was pretty annoying. Sometimes the AI would take way too long to get to me (even though they were loyal) and the game is bad for hitting you with attacks that knock you down right after you've been revived. The dodge mechanic also seemed pretty useless, I found myself getting hit even when using it (like if a boss charged). Overall, minor annoyances for an otherwise really fun game. Game was underrated by critics if you compare the scores it got to games like Gears 3 and Max Payne 3. It was was better than both of those,. Wasn't too big on the indoor complex type environment.
