I hope part 2 is next year and it’s going to look incredible on PS5 with UE5.

Game literally could not be done on any other console. It’s a true exclusive. It’s a Ratchet game sure but the tech and detail is incredible. You can zoom in on tiny modes and still see fully detailed textures and rt lighting. It’s on all the weapons. I swear my playtime is probably going to be 3-4 hours more than it should be because I’m just examining shit.

I’m playing on Fidelity in 30 FPS. Only hermslobs would give a shit about FPS when a game is a literal playable Pixar movie quality that we’ve been dreaming of since we were kids. PS5 going to be incredible as we progress. Spider-Man 2 is going to be incredible I’m sure. Insomniac has become a S-tier developer at this point.

I got through the first main chapter with Ratchet and had just started playing with Rivet before I stopped. Game is seriously one of the best games graphically ever. It’s selling me on the next-gen and I’m really excited to see Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac.

Lowest Ratchet dips is 1800p. Also, this is a non-answer. The only thing that probably comes close is CyberPunk on a 3080 or higher.

The environmental textures could use work. Probably won’t be day one on this but will pick it up eventually. Didn’t even finish Demon’s Souls on PS5.

This is going to be worse than the Anderson/Jovovich movies.
