  1. Arise is a certified Brazilian ass shaker. But I’m cautious on this games difficulty. I notice there’s a lot of XP dlc fuckery you can buy and the levels of enemies are already looking pretty sus since I’m fighting enemies at a pretty active pace and the enemies and bosses have been like 4 -5 levels higher than me already, and i don’t seem to be leaving up at a faster pace with that increased enemy level

its too soon to say for certain but it’s giving me a feeling of a potential Ubisoft   Style design of making you buy xp. Really hoping that’s not the case

Thats great to hear, that was my main issue with the demo. Im really close to pulling the trigger on it but i'd rather avoid having to play it when Lost Judgment is coming out so soon. I really don't want to juggle 2 huge story focused RPGs at the same time.

I thought about that too but I've been on a serious RPG BINGE as of late so Im sure i'll be done before Lost Judgement comes out but i also mostly skip side content in games.

I also plan on getting Deathloop next week too :scared:

  3. Played the first few hours of Tales of Arise up until the end of the first boss and dungeon

    FIRE

More games seriously need to take the approach of starting the game where shit gets real right from the start rather than a slow build up.

I'm also finding the combat more enjoyable here than the demo since the manner in which it introduces its mechanics makes it better the understand compared to the demo where you have everything already and all the characters and wondering WTF I'm doing.

Can't wait to try it out more this weekend :aitch:

haha yeah it’s crazy. The last boss is pretty much seizure central.

also, hopefully not much a spoiler but you’re going to get a 6th party member soon :ben:

Just got him. Holy fuck the battles are ridiculous, but fun as fuck:lul:

In a similar way, it's giving me the same sort of feeling the first one did where I could not keep up with whats going on on both screens.

When he appears and the original TWEWY song starts playing :lawd:

This has been the mosy hype track in neo IMO. I dont even like metal, but every time you fight susukichi and this track played shit gets me PUMPED like im playing DMC or Metal Gear Rising

I'm stopping tonight at week 3 day 5. Gonna finish it tomorrow. Great game :smoke:

Finished NEO TWEWY. Really solid game overall, the presentation was pretty slick throughout and the story was well paced with an entertaining cast of characters. The soundtrack has some weak tracks but the good ones are pretty killer, especially one that plays during one of the last boss battles. The one aspect that annoyed me a bit was the combat (mainly towards the end) There is just SO much shit happening on screen that it becomes hard to keep track of what’s going on. I even died a few times without realizing it because I’d get hit by strong attacks and have no clue due to the damage numbers/indicators getting obscured by everything else you’re trying to focus on.

Bruh I'm on week 3 day 3 and the combat has gotten so crazy with 5 party members now that my brain is on autopilot while my hands are doing the work. Theres soooo much shit going on. Definitely fun but i think i've gotten too old and slow now to play something so hectic. I was straight getting my shit pushed in on the Ayano boss on week 3 day 2

I think this break while i finished other games helped out my enjoyment because I'm finding myself enjoying the 2nd half much more than i did in the first half.

Hopefully i can wrap things up before tomorrow night when Tales of Arise comes out :scared:

    Jesus, it's that bad???

oh fuck yeah.  It feels rushed, lacking budget, and honestly just lacking effort. Staples of cash grabs.

I read the development started after Travis Strikes Again and that was only 2 years ago and we're talking about covid affected years. This isn't even a question of "Well it's not for everyone". It's objectively bad. I'm sure their are people who love being defecated on during sex, but that' doesen't change the fact that it's fucking nasty

damn, I was actually right about to buy it.

Don't. I was a fan of this series but this game has nothing going for it. I thought at least the story and characters and boss battles would be entertaining but not even that. The story is almost non existant, the bosses are bland as fuck except maybe 1 or 2, and even those are still weak. Right from the start i knew they had made a mistake when they introduce the 10 bosses at the beginning and they all shared a style. The fun in Suda games is not knowing what kind of rabbit the game is going to pull out of its hat for the next boss but here it's literally generic alien boss 1, generic alien boss 2, generic alien boss 3. Stupid.

There's no new memorable characters like a Shinobu, Henry, Bad Girl, Margaret in NMH3. I literally can't remember what any boss even looks like or their names or their theme song. Theyre just such throwaway and forgettable.

ever since they got rid of the OG composer from NMH1 (who also did killer7 as well as the Danganronpa games) the music has been getting worse and worse.

She’s hot, but I’ve come to realize that it’s much easier for wealthy celebrities to keep in shape compared to the average person. Thanks to Personal trainers, professional chefs/dieticians, plastic surgeons, babysitters/nannies, loads of free time, limited stress, etc when you take everything into consideration it’s really not that impressive overall.

    oh come on

You make it sound like you can buy your way to a healthy body. It's relatively easy to remain in shape if the person want to, just as its easy to be out of shape. Just try to remain moderately active, drink lots of water, don't eat trash. Most people can't do this because they're lazy as fuck to even make their own meals and just order trash from uber eats.

You wouldn't believe how many people i've seen use surgery to lose weight and they quickly baloon back to complete fat asses because they can't stop stuffing their faces with complete garbage
