Forza Horizon 4 got four more reviews today, a 98, 95, 93 and a 90, it's about to tip over to a 93/100. That being said, a "racing game" is almost paralleling the scores of the "game of the generation". you pretty much undid your own case. forza is competing w racing games, a dying genre with little competition. meanwhile god of war is competing w story focused western single player games... there is literally no higher standard. just look at the last decade of goty winners (another story focused western single player game will win this year too). thats what makes god of wars 94 so incredible.
