Has any console ever been as consistently mediocre as the X1?

Mediocre? Mediocre???

Xbox would be fucking lucky to be considered mediocre. This is easily one of the worst consoled of all time.

those comments HOLY SHIT   Xbox is fucking dead, the laughing stock of the business. SEGA was better off when they caved, Xflop is a fucking punchline a this point. Fuck you Phil Sphincter.

You know Phil is probably literally crying about how bad this game is gonna be lol

If he wasn't so busy tweeting about his PC setup, or what he's playing on Windows10 he might just realize what a meme this game has devolved into.

the most worrying part is that the publicity and public perception of xbox is so low right now there's literally no way back into console gaming for MS.

This isn't a PS3 situation or a wiiU situation. The companies behind those consoles still had consumer TRUST.

MS has nothing going into next gen, and now they're labelled as anti-consumer and reknown worldwide for shit exclusives or lack of exclusives period.

there's no way out of this hole, not now in 2019 with the internet's reach as far as it is.

we are literally experiencing doomsday for xbox. if you still own one, sell now before it's too late. Unless you're like Dyanamite and want to hold on to a box of laserdiscs or betamax tapes for collection purposes, get out of xflop ownership ASAP!

Nah.. At Xbox One's launch they were seen as the evil faceless company that wants to ban used games and spy on you with Kinect. Nowadays they are seen as much more pro consumer with crossplay, gamepass, and the adaptive controller.  The public perception of their games can easily change with 1 or 2 big hit. They have the resources to make a come back and they are already making  aggressive acquisitions to rectify this.
