I can damn well tell you right now that completely maxed out the game is of a fidelity that completely puts the console to shame. Those effects look better in motion because you don't see all the little artifacts that come with them at lower quality settings like the consoles use... They're higher quality settings merely for the purpose of improving quality of said settings... not visually changing the look of the game. You also know damn well that you can take any PC game, run it with stupid amounts of AA applied which doesn't improve the image perceptibly at all... and completely tanks performance. I mean... YOU KNOW THIS. But yet, you post shit like those pictures up there and underline MAXIMUM settings like you're making some grand point... when half of the settings which completely tank performance are things related to physics and simulations... the other half are simply increasing the values of said settings exponentially higher which aren't and wouldn't be visible in still shots.. Again... YOU KNOW THIS. The game is EASY to run at console settings... and not only that... you can be sure AMD and Nvidia will both be working on their drivers for this game over time. Also.. checking that "Pey" users site... he's running the game in DX12... which as I've already stated runs worse than Vulkan in my own experience with a 2080ti by up to 10-15% at times... not to mention he's running with 4X MSAA on top of the TAA..... That's completely tanking performance... Devs need to just start including presets in their games which denote the console settings as standard.. and then just go up from there. Idiot forum users and websites are all too eager to click on and report and draw comparisons about shit they don't truly understand.
