So that the American people can see what a stable, decent, intelligent, and "Presidential"-acting President feels like, again. Every news channel will be giving him airtime, for free. The main physician that was talking during that shitty press conference yesterday said that Chief of Staff Mark Meadows "gave him all the work he could handle." And they gave photos of Trump working to the press. Except that people were able to look at the EXIF data of those digital photos and see that the photos were taken at the very end of the day, and they were taken just 10 minutes apart.
