switch is selling more copies of resident evil and it doesn't even get the new games.  

 

Playstation is literally selling 10 times the amount of games. resident evil is probably around the same. 10:1 in favour of playstation

Pretty much this, Xbox is a heavy digital platform now so just posting physical sales metrics is worthless. Also digital is taking over in general even before the pandemic which has only further increased its popularity.

Lmao, physical sales aren't worthless, it's actually a pretty good indication of what the digital market looks like even if Xbox consumers tend to buy more digital games than consumers on other platforms.

It's a pretty good metric to start making some safe assumptions, better than to think the digital market is miraculously going to show totally different disparity between platforms.

 

If physical sales are in favor of PS, it's way more likely the same on the digital front, more so than the opposite, with slight differences here and there. This goes for everything.

 

The slightly higher adoption rate of digital game on Xbox isn't going to make up for those huge disparities in sales. You're completely delusional if you think otherwise.
