Sure if you put it side by side with a under $1400 LG C1.

 

But these OLEDs really are a step ahead of any other LED/LCD technology at the moment.

 

I hear that you can technically modify an LG C1 to change voltage to make the screen display a brightness as high as the G1. And that the mod is, more or less, safe.

 

LG is going to bring their "OLED EVO" display tech to all of their models in the future, so all of them can achieve over 1000 nits in brightness.
