This game was such a bummer. All the hype, all the years in development, the massive budget, etc yet it was a completely forgettable experience that made no impact singleplayer or multiplayer wise.

One of the most consistently disappointing studios ever. Would be more surprising if they did well. Other studios would've been shut down or had projects taken away from them but that's what happens when you have a team specifically to just make one franchise.

Its probably why Halo released this bad news, because they hope they could get a free pass with this utter failure while everybody is paying attention to Battlefield's failure.

 

At least DICE, at SOME POINT IN TIME, has made a good Battlefield game.

You know 343 and xbox division/phil spencer are all the same. To date none have created an interesting product, theres no talent in sight, none of them seem to understand what makes a good and interesting videogake but theg're kept entirely afloat by Daddy Microsoft's deep pockets.

 

Phil Spencer really has it made. Xbox under him has been the worst, least interesting brand in the videogame industry and the consoles were tanking at retail but all he has to do is ask Daddy Nutella to buy him some publishers to help keep his brand relevant.

 

I'm betting there are a number of execs at Microsoft who know all too well they would never get a job of equal position in another company. With their resumé they would be laughed out of the door.
