It's not so much a direct military threat. Not everything is about manpower, I was just adding the fact that they had a capable military force.

NATO exists basically to keep Russia in check and the hegemony of western powers. Acting like they aren't actively working to undermine Putin if they can and are some kind of angels that aren't playing geopolitical games. lol How quick did NATO countries supplied Ukraine with billion dollars' worth of everything in defense of 'democracy'? There wasn't even a debate.

You have a western influenced, corrupt 'democratic' country at your border that is actively working against you and possibly want to destabilize your regime. How do you think he's going to react? I'm just saying Putin's actions makes sense beyond just a simple land and resources grab. It's a pre emptive strike with the goal of putting pro-Russian authority at the seat of Ukranian Government out of fear, I think. Or maybe I'm totally wrong in my assessment.

Ukraine unanimously chose democracy in 2014 so they can do whatever the fuck they want. Your implication that Russia 'owns' the country and can do whatever it wants to it is ridiculous. The Soviet Union fell 30 years, Ukraine is free to decide its own future just like Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia chose theirs.

She's a useful idiot who's been repeating Russian propaganda about NATO being the reason for this war when anyone with 2 eyes and half a brain can see thats not the case.

But hey NATO is to blame and we should definitely be trying to work towards peace between Ukraine and Russia    Its a good thing you weren't alive during WW2, you would probably have been pa

Sounds like you're a conspiracy theorist

I didn't say Putin didn't violate Ukraine sovereignty.

Russia is as corrupt as they come. The whole country is built on corruption. I think this explains and reveals a lot about why Russia, the alleged "superpower", wasn't able to take over Ukraine even before the west started flooding their armed forces with western weapons and/or old soviet stocks. I think even the west was surprised about how they overestimated Russia's military capacity.

Anyways, I think your assessment is wrong, but we all have different perspectives and thoughts on it. I think it's clear where I stand, but I thought this talk was very interesting because I was interested in why Russia is reacting the way they are. I can't say for a fact the video is completely true, but its does tie up some loose ends about my thoughts.

Anwyays, I don't think this is about NATO per se, but in current times it is the excuse.

I do think there is a some validity to the argument that Russia would feel threatened by a Pro Western Ukraine thats fully integrated with the EU. Because of the close ties between many Ukranians and Russians (mostly severed by this conflict) Russians would be able to notice and see first hand just how much Ukraine was progressing a western EU democracy with a superior quality of life and actual freedom, and that would cause them to question their own government and cause civil unrest which potentially could eventually lead to regime change. However I think the chances of that would still be slim and it definitely doesn't justify the invasion.

Putin/Russia is as corrupt as it gets, indeed.

Plenty of people expected Kyiv to fall before we could even react, it definitely put things into perspective. Ukrainians definitely surprised the world with their tenacity. Or it's a statement on Russian military inefficiency.

Although, at this point in the war I must say Ukraine is being supplied with everything they want (almost, lol), plus advance weapons defense system. Most likely has top of the line mercenaries and foreign specialist disguised as Ukraine's force on the ground. What I mean at this point is I'm not surprised Ukraine is putting up a tough fight. It wouldn't going their way right now if they didn't get fully backed by NATO just out of attrition and lack of war supplies.

The recent ballistic missiles volley scared me though. Russian forces might be put in question, but ballistic missiles and nukes are still worth thousands of soldiers fighting on the ground.

I'm going to watch your video. I see Peter the Great in the thumbnail, so you got my attention. lol

While it's funny watching you two retards fight. I'll ask you, so Putin can do and get whatever he wants because Russia has nukes? Aren't you the anti-China guy?

Calling Twincel Hilary-like minded as a dis is might sound good for short term memory folk but like Hilary called out Tulsi years before Russia even invaded Ukraine so you're not making her or him look bad in this instance. BTW this is why you idiots are so annoying. Yall have such shitty opinions I'm forced to say positive things about people I can't stand.  At the end of the day Tulsi has been a right appeasing grifter for years so this is really no surprise for anyone. It's just a fake clout move at this point. She's probably in talks with Fox about getting her own show where she'll beat viewers in the head that she's a former Democrat.

you should've left this thread alone, so that Twinblade could see and argue first-hand to witness how there are radicalized dumbasses who have been caught up in Russian propaganda like Cooke.

Twinblade was literally arguing with Cooke and realizing that he's spouting propaganda, and he was realizing how Cooke reacts when confronted with cold, hard evidence that its Russian propaganda.

I love how he can't answer any question directly, and thinks he can get out of this by trying to counter with questions.

Twinblade was literally SHOWING you the propaganda to your face in the first few posts of this thread.

What's the matter...................you don't consider youtube videos to be evidence anymore?:hest:

Because I'm worried about nuclear war with a nuclear power that has thousands of nuclear warheads and a fucking mad man as a dictator I can't be concerned about this war thousands of miles away? I can't be concerned our governments are sending endless amounts of weapons and money? I can't be concerned here in Vancouver we are paying 9 dollars a gallon for gas?

It's wrong to want them to end this peacefully and have no more innocent people killed?

If I'm wrong then the world is completely fucked.

GO UKRAINE GO!!

It's like it's a fucking sports game for you guys

I bet you do. You're a self hating bigot so I would expect no less from you. You're not seeing something no else sees. We all know Russia has nukes, we all know Putin is a nightmare but you're the one trying to pass this off as not negotiating with a mad man that invaded a sovereign nation or that making a deal with them is essentially the same as negotiating with a terrorist times 1000x. So when Russia wants something in the future does the world just give them what the want under threat of a nuclear strike? Where is the line?

except Biden does not appease Putin by letting him simply take parts of Ukraine as a "peace agreement"

that's not a peace agreement, not in the slightest.
