Sony makes a 30% cut and they don't spend a single dime on game development, it's all profit for them. MS still accumulates costs from developing the game and running the studios you fucking imbecile lol. How the hell is Sony losing from this?

Third parties pay royalties to the platform, idiot. How the fuck would console makers make money if they pay the third party game makers to sell games for their consoles?

CoD lifetime sales is a little over 30 billion. Thats the ENTIRE series. There is no way in hell one game is going to make 35 billion in one year LOL.

 

Fuckin Genshin Impact, a game that basically prints money, is "only" making a couple billion a year.
