I think he's pointing out the fact that they weren't implemented from the start. But it;s been so long that that point is mute. Unless some goes out and plays the back log of titles which it is possible.

I actually like trophies more because they're ranked. You can get a high gamerscore just by having a bunch of games. With trophies people with only a bunch of bronzes like Dark Emerald get exposed for the non gamer he is.

Achievements and Trophies are the same shit. Harder trophies give you better ratings just like harder achievements give you more gamerscore. However, Trophies kinda suck because they were not implemented from the start. Only one of my ps3 games supports them. In the end, if I had to pick one irrelevant thing to care about it would be Achievements.

Playing the Ballad of Gay Tony and it is better than GTA4 but for some reason the GTA games are getting pretty stale. It was fun last gen to have a huge open world game but now it's more like a chore to play these huge games. I'd rather have a good game with a solid 5-6 hour campaign than some open world flop.
