It's going to be just fine... and for $50 more than the Switch OLED, it offers MUCH MUCH more. This will run the vast majority of PC games out there, and they can all scale to the device. This thing SMASHES any of it's competition... any other comparisons or "concerns" from haters can simply be disregarded.

Why would MS want to cannibalize game sales like Battlefield and COD? They make money off those games selling as best as they can on their hardware. MS are also only in control of their own games and when they release. MS is cognizant of the fact that BF and COD release on other platforms as well... which ties those developers into releasing them together. Thus for MS to make the most money, they plan their game around the others... it's not a hard concept to understand.

I think it will run AAA games just fine for a couple years yet. The power it has for the resolution it requires is quite good.. and yes, as long as people aren't expecting high and ultra settings for everything, then I don't see why it won't be. This current gen is taking longer to transition than people will want to admit. Sony still releasing PS4 versions of their exclusive games too. Like I said, there's nothing done currently which couldn't be done on last gen devices, and made to scale... of which on PC you have increased flexibility to do. Of course
