  1. Completely different engine with a completely different lighting characteristic. Not to mention Assassin's Creed is a game that was designed around 5 different platforms and not just one. They aren't really comparable.
  2. I really like the design of the new character Rivet, and the colors they went with. It's very pleasing to look at and is such a nice contrast to the rest of the colors in the image.

  9. Yes and no. Some textures certainly aren't THAT detailed, but they balance them with some ultra high detailed textures (like most graphically impressive games do) so I think a lot of the finer detail is there, but it's just being lost due to 4 things: 1. Youtube compression 2. Motion Blur effects 3. Ray tracing/SSR denoiser 4. Anisotropic Filtering Also, I noticed that compared to the previous trailer that was just released (which is older) this version looks a bit worse in lighting, but much better with reflections. I'm not saying they've "downgraded"

  15. Ah. Yea that sucks. You should be able to go to the menu, open another game.. and be able to switch back or do whatever.. like Xbox. That's kinda why Quick Resume on Xbox is a pretty killer feature. It compensates for games like this that force you to commit for long periods. The Binding of Isaac was the same for a while. Getting the option to exit at any time and then continue a run later was a life saver.. because sometimes you'd get a good run going and then something comes up and you gotta leave quick. An Isaac game can last about 1-2 hours depending

Me asking if it does anything differently with basic mechanics =/= me stating that it has to break new ground to be AAA I first asked what's AAA about the gameplay... then I asked if it's doing anything that other games don't.
