  1. LOL Nope. Remember this Dynamite. I tried to warn you.
  2. LMAO no. You're going to get all this thrown back in your face
  3. No. That's what idiots want to believe though. There's nothing more crap than screen space effects. You guys have been conditioned to think that shit look normal or good enough... because it needed to be for so long now. But not anymore.
  4. It wasn't a current gen game... I stated back then it would either be downgraded or not release on current gen consoles. Now it certainly looks the part.
  5. Keep on trying till you do. The feeling you'll get from finally doing it is >>>>
  6. I'm really not sure how I feel about this. Doesn't look nearly as good as I was expecting tbh. Sure the full game will impress though.
  7. Well it's called "Opencritic" for a reason. The point is, there's been plenty of sites that have posted theirs on Opencritic which haven't been added to Metacritic.... sites that HAVE been on Metacritic before. So I don't know why they aren't adding them. But what's clear is that if they do, the meta will go up.
  8. Maybe Metacritic stopped accepting reviews from sites, of they just haven't added them for some reason? Anyway, the game has 124 reviews on Opencritic and is sitting at an 84.
  9. Yea, he does an amazingly good job here. I really liked how he went through the different effects and explained how they have been added and improved upon over the years. The shot he took really did a good job at showing just how all these effects added together can improve the visuals. Like I've said before... it might seem like "oh a little darker here" and "more shiny there"... but when you start adding it all up, and when the quality goes even further.. people will look at raster only game and think 'how did we ever think this looked good/real?' I do disagree with him though
  10. Nah. The destruction and physics though... yeah This game is absolutely insane.
  11. I thought the game was only going to support 2 player co-op, but it turns out there's 3 player co-op. (one player plays as Jack I guess) And you can even do it in split screen.
  12. Looks like they did it Daymn.. Control and then this... then Borderlands 3 shortly after.

This is the type of game where DLSS actually shines.

Gears 5 actually has an in game sharpening slider option on PC. It's supposed to be up for pre-load now, but I still can't do it on Steam yet. It weighs in at around ~65GB according to the MS store. Gears 4 was around there when it launched as well. As they kept adding MP maps and shit though it grew to over 120GB... Here's hoping that that won't be the case this time. Or if it is... that they allow us a way of just downloading the campaign separately.

Here's a list of the currently supported games. Whenever they update Geforce Experience they always add more. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/games/#freestyle.html But I have a feeling that in the future they will separate the sharpening filter from the rest of freestyle and have it as a toggle in the Nvidia control panel.

Yea their new filter is really good. It helps dramatically in soft looking games with TAA. They just added another 350 games which will support it. That brings it to over 900 iirc.

Yea not even joking.. it really is. It's actually really quite fucking crazy. The most impressive thing is the glass reflections with transparency. You can see through the glass, as well as what's reflected on the glass. Also with RT on High, you get RT reflections of all the debris and particles, as well as shadows. When you consider how much debris and damage and particles there are, it's insane to see it all properly reflected and shadowed.

Game was great for me... I have a $1200 gfx card
  20. No way. It's much better in every regard than Quantum Break. And I much prefer the way this game handles feeding the player information and telling it's story than in QB and other games. I'm the type of person that loves piecing together the story from smaller more abstract snippets of information. Not sure how far you are so I'm not going to say much though. I simply don't see how a person could love QB and think this is just ok. But w/e. I thought you weren't buying it?
