i got a used 24 inch crt monitor back then for $100. it could do 1600 X 1200. doom 3 looked glorious on it! i would say the radeon 9600 and the 6600gt were pretty amazing budget cards, since they could run nearly every game maxed (maybe a few settings had to be dropped a bit).

the last "bang for your buck" gpu was the 8800gt. man, you could put together a beastly pc for under $1,000 back then.

I haven’t been able to play much Dark Souls. I’ve only beaten 3 bosses (Taurus, Gargoyles and Butterfly). Still, I’m enjoying what I’ve played (minus the dogs - I hate dogs in From games).. So far, I’m liking Demon’s Souls more, but that may change as I move forward.

Eh I’m leaving the game as is. Instead, I’ve been playing the older titles. Demon’s Souls remake > Elden Ring.

You’ll love the final 3 eps of season 1. The story gets intense.

I loved tonight’s TLOU, mainly because it explored one of my favorite subplots. The creators nailed the feel and the emotion. It was a love letter to the fans of the games, however, I wonder if it had the same effect on those who’ve never played the series.

Yeah, I can’t imagine playing 30 fps in this. I just beat a boss. I now have the ability to have multiplayer, but I’m doing this solo. Btw, I’m seeing that sweet level design already. I just unlocked a shortcut back to my save point.

So far, it’s pretty badass. I wish the graphics were updated, but it’s good enough.

I’m downloading Dark Souls Remastered. After being spoiled with 60FPS with Demon’s Souls, I need those 60 fps on the ps5. I’m curious as to which game will be harder.

I liked what I played of bloodborne, but I wish it was 60 fps. Also, it had some odd freezes. I kind of like the fantasy lore of the souls games more.

Ha…I’m considering it, mainly because I want to see this intricate level design many have raved about. Also, I’m starting to love the From games.

I’m watching Red Rose. On ep 3. It’s like good and bad. It’s hard to explain. But it’s super entertaining.

It truly is. I just finished it. I was scared af when Godly game and I would dare say it’s nearly perfect. I’m tempted to do new game + to platinum it, but I already put in a good 30 hours.
