102020393023445948594 2,223
Every time it shuts off for power saving mode or whatever, it'll lose connection and i have to go back into settings and manually set up the wi-fi network again. Loses connection during games rarely, but it happens. then i have to set up the wi-fi in settings again. My internet is good, all my other devices don't disconnect. Faulty console? lynux3 2,487
Well, it's no secret that the Wi-Fi module is complete and utter garbage on PS4. Doesn't matter if its base or Pro, they're both the same trash. You should probably go wired with a powerline adapter or run a longer cable.

Maybe he could solder the Xbox wifi adapter into his PS4 so it actually works properly

lostfool 694
My Wii had the same issue if it was plugged into a power strip. So I plugged it in to the wall and it fixed the problem.

-GD-X★ 8,383
I can’t say I’ve ever had a WiFi issue with the PS4. Even the OG. Granted, I would just use it for downloads and Netflix. Edited February 11, 2019 by -GD-
