Lol at lemmings getting so defensive when people are not impressed by what their new studio showed.  Could be great eventually, but what's shown thus far is nothing to get excited about. Even Crapgamer is not impressed.

Kinda makes sense if next gen is late 2020. But still terrible for now. 720p/900p versions with drops below 30fps.

The debut video of xCloud specifically says that they created server blades from XBox mainboards, and they clearly show an Xbox One S

Not really. Stadia still has a much bigger problem that Project xCloud probably won't have. Games.

Most importantly it does have a Netflix sub like game pass. Stadia for now is buying games full price lol.

Yea it's a new service.... games will come. Xbox has the advantage of just streaming the current library.....

 

but Xbox1's current library wasn't setting the world on fire to begin with..... No one is rushing out to stream Sea Of Thieves, State of Decay 2 or Lucky's Tale. 

 

great content from the studio acquisitions will take time.

The issue is everyone is saying streaming is the netlix of gaming and it needs that model in theory. It's going to come to stadia when the library builds up.

I guess the question remains how important is being able to access a library of games to stream without the desire or choice to have them locally on a dedicated box digitally.

I played the stadia beta (Assassin's creed) through Chrome.... ran well.

Probably. But XBox S for base hardware will be underwhelming till 2021. Though that applies to.PSnow.as well.
