I agree. Your track record at predicting things has been exemplary!

too bad, games are still fan fiction for lemmons

I mean you said $350 was low end and then started talking about the range of mid-range prices going from $300 to $500, but okay.

Hopefully 'Xbox Game Studios' A.K.A Microsoft 3rd party publishing gets the Switch port up and running fast, with Cuphead and Ori doing phenomenally on Switch I imagine most of their sales from Ori 2 will come from Switch.

A little extra polish (like with Ori 1) to get the Switch version running better and higher frames/Rez than Xflop is a must though. Only the best for us. :glad:

consoles are great for casuals like me, but i can't see a true graphics whore rocking the ps/xbo as a primary platform.

That's why it was always funny how certain posters were trying to boast about graphics.......but at the same time try to disqualify the PC from graphics debates.

Absolute hypocrites. They wanted to use the topic of graphics to boast about their console.......BUT not compare it to PC.

How sad do you have to be to do that?

Honestly... they're essentially the same now.  They're pretty much high end PCs at this point.

The thing is... PC GPUs are going to get A LOT faster very soon.  Within a year of the Series X launch, 12TF will be mid-range.  I said it before... and it will 100% be true.   Ampere and Big Navi will push quite a bit ahead... the GPUs after those... 2x the power of consoles.. easily.  And the other thing is that Ray Tracing is coming in a big way.  PC GPUs are going to improve on the RT side a lot faster.  Ampere is already said to be double the performance with RT compared to Turing.. so it's going to again be a case of how fast you can enable all the RT effects and maintain high performance.

But don't get me wrong... these consoles will be incredible well into the future.  You'll have Sony firing on all cylinders creating some of the best looking stuff again, because that's what Sony does.  Power matters to a point, but from there it's all budget... which Sony has a lot of.

Console gonna slap around PC for quite some time when ng starts

lmao nah.  They'll slap around low end PCs... but mid range cards will be around the same power when NG starts.
