X got discontinued only after 2 yrs and 4 months on the market.    That's a much shorter lifetime than Wiiu. 

 

X sold also sold less than Wiiu too.

This is what Lemmings don’t get. Even when Sony released a $600 console launching with inferior ports by the end of the gen they ended up selling about the same. Yet in the lemmings mind one day xbox is going to magically outsell PS by 2 to 1.

 

I’d be more interested in seeing Xbox sales year by year. Back in 2013 all the xtards and kids wanted xbox just because it was xbox. Whereas now I think everyone has accepted the brand is dead. It feels like its been in the 40-50 million range for years. I’m curious as to how badly the sales of this flop slowed down year by year. Microsoft is limping towards next gen
