Well one of those houses looks fly af and one looks ugly af (tv on fireplace wtf) so I assume you're saying PS5 looks sleek af

TV on the fireplace mantle.

In terms of style, Series X has none, PS5 looks better. The problem is that unless you're going for a futuristic aesthetics you're kind of fuck with it being in your living room. Series X is just a bl

But they overhang in DEPTH.

It doesn't use up width compared to the edges on the opposite side, and it barely extends the height (probably creating a little room so that the vents can push air in or out).

No........the Xbox is bland AND ugly. It looks like a cheap device.

There's a good 3/4 inch overhang in height, plus you have the vertical stand which adds another inch or so.  And with PS5, you'll want that stand... and it's FARRRR deeper than Series X when vertical as well.  Like I said, the footprint is bigger either way.  Series X doesn't need any stand in any orientation and you don't have to worry about it flopping over...  it's far shorter than the PS5, so even less chance still of it falling over for whatever reason.

Horizontally there's tons of wasted space with those curves, as well as the stand, which is just ridiculous.  You literally need that stand in both orientations.  It's far wider than Series X... and with the stand, there's not many shelves that you could fit a PS5 in horizontally that you couldn't also fit a Series X.  Except horizontally the PS5 takes up far more DEPTH than Series X, and is 2/3rds as thick.

Series X looks nice.  Maybe Sony thought if they put some fins on PS5 and made it more aerodynamic it would run faster or something? :hehe:

I've already explained to you like 3 times.

Depth doesn't matter, unless you happen to have an extremely thin (less than 12 inches) tv entertainment center, which most people with tv entertainment centers will not.

So the depth doesn't matter.

This is no wasted space with the curves. Check it.  Check the "pussy lips" and how far they extend outwards, and then check the plastic edges on the opposite end (where the disc drive is at). Its almost exactly the same width.

The XBox simply looks goofier because its going to be taller when laid horizontally.

I believe Cooke just showed a photo of his television on top of his fireplace. Those would have a mantle, a shelf, about 10 inches deep. THAT is probably the only place where you couldn't fit a PS5 in any ideal manner.

But then again, I don't put gaming consoles, or tvs, over a fireplace.

Depth does matter.  The farther back the console sits in a shelf or entertainment center, the less room it has to expel that hot air... and that air WILL be hot.

There is wasted space with those curves.  With the curves AND the stand, there's over an INCH of wasted space easily.  Looks like that goes ALL around the console with that overhang too.

Series X is going to look like a receiver when laid horizontally.  PS5 is gonna look out of place and dumb.

LOL, no, the PS5 depth is barely 12 inches. Its not going to sit right up against a back wall And both of these console appear to have then ventilation on the sides, if they are laid down horizontally, so your concern about "back side ventilation" is unfounded.

The Xbox Series X...................looks like a chinese bluetooth speaker:drake:

That's the AmazonBasic brand. And that's what Xbox is: basic.

It's going to.. in a lot of cases.  It's got a far bigger footprint any way you slice it dude :D

I wouldn't be surprised if PS5 pulls air in from the back and vents out the front :hest:

Not when it comes from where you'll be sitting at.

All tv entertainment centers have depths to spare, most times quite a bit more than 12 inches.

If it pulls air from the back, then it won't be hot air, because you not going to have another device generating hot air back there.

If anything, those "pussy lips" specifically give it clearance in all directions that it needs, and is exactly the reason why they are there.

LOL no... it's there for aesthetics...

but your previous statement almost (inadvertently) proves it.

They could still make the pussy lips, but not extend them more than just tinsy bit more beyond the black piece, and still have the same aesthetic.

If you put a solid rectangular object and push it right up against the side of the PS5, those lips specifically create a gap for it to see have clearance for air.

The lips coming out the backside actually lends more credibility to that, because there is no reason to provide aesthetics back there.

Remij is a fucktard.  He would rather look at tree stump looking console that looks like it was designed by a fucking 5 year old than something that looks premium.

It doesn't look premium, it looks tacky, it looks awkward, it looks like things can easily break off of it, it looks like some future console concept from the early 2000's which ends up being out of place when the actual future comes to pass.

Not shocking because you guys keep posting this stuff so you're viewing it about a dozen times each artificially increasing its count; and I'm seeing people all over the internet doing the same thing.

You're inflating shit.
