Jacob Blake was ‘armed with a knife and put one cop in a headlock during fight with officers’ before he was shot

He was a criminal and an active threat. The shooting was justified. Time to get over it.

You guys seem to think that we're saying he is not guilty, that he shouldn't be arrested that he should not have been subdued.... no one is saying that.

Shooting him in HIS BACK SEVEN TIMES AT POINT BLANK RANGE is still not justified in this situation bro.

yeah the cop should have politely waited for the dude to turn around and plunge the knife right into him....AFTER already having been told to drop it and refusing to do so, and thats not including the several other offences including WRESTLING wih cops and putting one in a headlock....

You guys continue to put no effort into thinking about the situation logically. Maybe try to put yourself into the cop's shoes. He also wants to be able to go home to his family, he's not going to give an aggressive criminal a chance to stab him or potentially pull a different weapon altogether from his car.

Come on now....

seven shots in the back? seriously now... for an unarmed man? really?

How many shots in the back you think it takes to stop one man?  :mjpls:

Those cops in the video need better training, if they felt the need to shoot a man 7 times in his back for this particular situation.

Its already been confirmed that he had a knife ON HIM (hence why the cop told him to drop it in the video). Why do you continue to make excuses for a dangerous criminal? Who even knows what would have happened if his girlfriend hadn't call the cops....he could have easily sexually assaulted her again or worse, maybe even used the knife on her.

So he was trying to steal her car. There goes @jehurey excuse that it was on the floorboard the entire time. It wasn’t his car, LOL. And he admitted to having the knife. And the cops said “drop the knife” well before he got to the car.

Bro, if you think 7 shots in the back is justified in this situation you better not ever become a cop.....your first shift would end with multiple civilians getting 7 to 10 shots in the back.

And then when a deadly threat actually happens you'll start racking up the head shots like it's out of style.

The narrative libs ran with at the beginning was so funny... bu bu he was there to stop a fight. Lmfao. He was the whole reason the cops were called in the first place as he was breaking a restraining order and attempting to steal her car... AGAIN. gotta feel for this woman.

1 shot vs 1000, this dude is the reason he had any bullets in him in the first place.

No he didn't.

He notified the cops that he had possession of a knife. Not that it was on him.

It was INSIDE the car.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnope.

You guys just tried misleading on the knife.

The Attorney General's report is that he did not have the knife on him, it was inside the car.

The cops just TRIED CHANGING THEIR STORY within the past 12 hours, but its already confirmed in the AG's report.

What does that matter when the point we are making is that IT WAS NOT ON HIS BODY.

Attorney General's report still confirms it........................ITS IN THE CAR.

Period.

This is one of the most ridiculous things i've read on this forum. You're not even trying anymore so I won't either.

But heres some food for thought: Have you ever wondered why 99.999% of police encounters end peacefully without any shots being fired or weapons drawn? Could it be because....oh i don't know....they involve law abiding citizens who don't resist or FIGHT back? Yet the media is portraying police as the bad guyz because 0.001% of the time they have to deal with criminals like Jacob Blake who are unable to be civil and follow basic directions.

Hmmmmmmm...........

During the investigation following the initial incident, Mr. Blake admitted that he had a knife in his possession. DCI agents recovered a knife from the driver’s side floorboard of Mr. Blake’s vehicle.

and it wasn’t his car. Pretty damning, and obvious, he dropped it after being shot. Otherwise he couldn’t have possessed it, considering it wasn’t his car. (And he was attempting another felony by stealing it with his children inside of it)

No. The Attorney General's report confirmed that it was in the car.

It was not on his body.

THe police could ask "do you have any weapons" and the person, who knows they have a knife in the car, could respond "there's a knife"

The officers, if they thought the knife was ON HIS BODY, would want to frisk his body and take the knife immediately.

The attorney general's report is straightforward: it was in the car.

Nope...............you're trying make a tangential argument about whose car it is.

The KNIFE was in the car..............if you want to say that the car is owned by somebody else..........then I guess that knife is somebody else's as well.

but the attorney general's report is clear. The knife was in the car.

It did not "fall out" he body wasn't even IN the car when the gun was already going off.

So then why did he admit to having it in his possession?

because it could be HIS knife in his ex-girlfriends car.

if you have a gun in your GLOVE COMPARTMENT, and a cop pulls you over and says "do you have any weapons"............are you going to say "No"?????????????? Because its technically not on your body?

Absolutely not, because you know that if the cop finds it in the glove compartment, you just made things very bad for yourself.
