Why?  It looks and runs fine enough.  If anything, when the upgraded Switch comes out it will give them another chance to "soft launch" the game again with upgrades.

didn't know that it was running on the recent RE engine.

 

Definitely lends credence to those rumors that more RE revelations games are coming to Switch if Capcom seemingly went out of its way to have this engine running on the Switch.

Capcom internal document and road map leaks already confirmed RE :REV 3, Rise, MH Stories 2 and Ghost and Goblins.

 

So far that leak has been on the money.
