Guest
Most of the heists are very linear. Do this, go there, do that, swtich to that character, do this etc. yeah, but at least they are fun. this is the first gta i will actually complete (because i enjoy the campaign). i almost finished vice city, because i dug the vibe. i hated san andreas and gta 4. cmon son andreas was too dated when it released and gta 4..... shit game in every aspect. my man

His Majesty 3
i played it on hard dude. The only part where i actually started to run out of ammo/resources was that chase scene in winter. SoD is not as survival as i would have liked but its still far above TLOU. You die in TLOU and you get sent to checkpoint 5 minutes prior to that point. You die in SoD and that character is gone for good. Any of your survivors can also kick the bucket if you're not careful. I never died in the game but i came damn close quite a few times, and the tension during those moments was much greater than anything in TLOU. lmao this is bullshit noone ever dies in SoD , i literally had zero ammo zero weapons and still managed to kill a horde on my own more survival than TLOU my ass LMAO "I never died in the game " but just the thought of you losing all your progress when your character dies is enough to instill that feeling of survival. you can't compare that with being reset to a checkpoint a few minutes before with all of your persistence and items intact like in TLOU.... Well, you actually have to be able to DIE to feel that permadeath tension.Almost dying but actually surviving for 15 times is meh. Having permadeath and ALMOST NEVER dying is worthless. DayZ for instance (with all its shitty problems etc) provided some of the most amazing tension i have felt the last 8 years IMO. Even a random example where I was literally guarding a doorway for 25 minutes without moving a muscle cause a group of raiders had spotted me and the whole damn 25 minutes were filled with cold sweat, dilated pupils, small quick breaths, fear, anxiety and complete enjoyment. I have never before played a game where i didn't press a single key for half an hour and felt such tension and fun. I dare anyone to find a similar experience.
soup 105
DayZ definitely did this open world zombie thing the best, it's a shame the game it's built on is so bad.
His Majesty 3
It's horrible not the game itself but the netcode and the shitty networking allowing hackers and shooting people 100 times but dying instead :P but in the 80 hours i played those stuff didnt happen much, still it would be nice if it was a smooth experience ambition will always be glitchy. soup 105
Meh, cheats and net code issues were the least of it. The ARMA engine is just janky.
Risky 2
I watched cryaotic's letsplay of "The wolf among us" and damn was it epic. Come on episode 2!
San Dax 11
After I finished GTA V, I started playing Puppeteer. And oh my lord, it's so good. There's so much love put into this game.
soup 105
Been pretty much playing GTAO exclusively the last couple days. Nothing about it is all that great, pretty average in fact, but I'm playing with friends and at the very least it's a fun experience. We had 4 stars and were fleeing the scene when another player swooped in with a Cargobob (helicopter) to try and take us out, he made a mistake and got close enough to our car that I could throw a sticky bomb out and detonate it before it came back down to the ground and blew up the chopper and the pilot inside lol. I was in a game where someone had taken the high priority export car and was en route to simeon's garage for delivery. I raced over to the garage and waited for him to show up. Put a couple of bullets in dude and turned the car in myself. Was 'ing the whole time.
soup 105
Lmfao. That shit can be pretty damn funny from time to time. I ran a Cargobob into a police chopper that my bros were dueling in their chopper and it just exploded and we flew away
San Dax 11
I arm wrestled a guy in GTA O, schooled him, he quit. Also, I did a 5 player parachute jump, was fun. I'm kinda getting into GTA O
soup 105
If you have people to mess around with its fun. We robbed like 7 stores in a row using a chopper

Kzero 10
I tried the Hearthstone beta. It's definitely fun. Found myself getting mad and cheering to the game. If I get any invites or come across any, i'll make a thread
Sick Cinema 20
Just beat Kingdom of Amalur. Fun game, took about 30 hours including numerous side quests. By the time I got to the final segment, the game started to feel repeatative. It was essentially a long linear path towards the final boss, the had many redundant side quests along the way. The final boss was pretty easy once you figure out that it's best to keep your distance. 7.5/10, mainly for the fun combat and huge explorable world. San Dax 11
Busy getting all the GTA V collectibles
James Skywalker 528
As I said before, I've been playing FFIX and now I'm at the end of the game. Tried beating an optional boss - the hardest boss in the game - and I got wooped. Going to need to level up.
Twinblade★ 3,925
luigi mansion's ending made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside there were some annoying parts, but it was a really enjoyable game overall.
